1 Dead In Shooting At Dallas Apartment Complex

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – One person is dead after a shooting at an apartment complex in Dallas late Friday evening, police say.

Police say they responded to the shooting at the Atera apartments in the 4600 block of Cedar Springs Road at around 10:40 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a person lying in the parking lot of the complex with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released. Police say the victim didn’t have any identification on him.

Witnesses told police that they heard gunshots and saw a vehicle speeding out of the parking lot. A description of the vehicle was not immediately made available.
